Well currently, “we” is me, Bob, with help from my daughter Stef — and if you found your way here it is because you received the password to access the site, probably from me, or someone else in Laguna Woods Volleyball.

I’m number 4 in this pic, with the “Killer Tomatoes” a volleyball group from Albuquerque that regularly competes in national tournaments such as the Huntsman Tournament and National Senior Games. I recently permanently moved back to Southern California to live in Laguna Woods, and I want to add what I can to the volleyball community here.

Laguna Woods Village Volleyball is a community of senior volleyball players in the Southern California Area — but primarily playing at the Laguna Woods Village Clubhouse 1. We are looking to encourage active seniors to continue their love for volleyball with regular competitive gameplay. The Advanced Volleyball Club has been active for over twenty years. With the current website https://lwvolleyball.wixsite.com/lwvb maintained by Eric, one of long time volleyball players here in the village.

We hope this site continues to evolve as it describes volleyball activities in the Southern California area — but then again, it might just be a hobby to keep a recent retiree active for a few months….time will tell.
